Choosing a Material Before You Book the Install
If you have not settled on a material yet, that is the first decision, not the last. We sell and help homeowners choose between hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, tile, luxury vinyl plank and carpet, matching the material to the room and the budget rather than pushing one option. A kitchen or entry that sees water and heavy traffic usually calls for tile or luxury vinyl plank, while a bedroom or living room can lean toward hardwood, engineered wood or carpet. What to Expect at Your Free In-Person Estimate
We come to the property and measure the actual space, rather than pricing a job over the phone from a rough description. If you already know your material, we confirm quantity and talk through the install. If you do not, we walk through the tradeoffs between materials for that specific room right there. Either way you leave the visit with a real number based on the real scope of the work, and a sense of how the schedule fits around your holiday timeline.
Already Bought Your Material? We Also Install Labor Only
Not everyone starting a fall flooring project needs us for the material. Homeowners who already bought flooring elsewhere, along with builders, remodelers, landlords and property managers turning over a unit, can book us for flooring labor alone. We still give a free in-person estimate first, confirm the material on hand is enough for the space, then prep the subfloor and install it to the same standard as a full installation.
Planning Your Timeline Before the Holidays
The biggest planning mistake we see is waiting until a couple of weeks before a holiday to call. An in-person estimate early in the fall gives us time to catch subfloor issues before they become a scheduling problem, and it gives you time to order material if you are buying it somewhere else. Booking early does not mean starting early. It means the project is scoped, scheduled and ready to move the moment you want it to.
